Mil-Spec Packaging

With a history that began with packing for the armed forces in World War II, we are experts in packaging and packing to military specifications.

Horn is certified to do Mil-Spec packaging and packing to level A/A through level C/C, and we use Mil-Spec materials in accordance with Mil-STD-2073. We manufacture Mil-Spec crates and boxes, foam and packaging materials as specified by ASTM D7478M, ASTM D6251, and ASTM D5118. To help ensure that our customers are in compliance with Government contract preparation-for-delivery requirements, we do Mil-Spec marking, labeling and bar coding according to Mil-STD-129, including MSL and RFID labeling.

We are authorized to process shipments and complete documents through the Government’s Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) and Electronic Transfer Account (ETA) systems.
