Packing Services

We have a complete wood production facility that builds everything from simple skids to heavy-duty crates for loads up to 63,000 lbs.

With equipment that includes 31-ton in-house bridge cranes, Horn is the most efficient packer of large equipment in the region. Our TSA and FAA approved crating facility has 17 loading doors, including drive-ins, and it is completely fire-protected. Quality control is rigorous: we are ISO 9000 certified, and all lumber used in crate construction is heat treated and stamped in accordance with ISPM-15 standards for international shipments.

Projects range from single items to entire factories, working in our facilities or on location at customer sites around the world. Our capabilities include water vapor proof vacuum sealing, Volatile Corrosion Inhibitors (VCI) and other corrosion prevention technologies, temperature control, and shock mounting. We build re-usable crates with ramps for easy loading and unloading.

As a “one-stop” resource, we provide packing, containerization, HazMat packaging, logistics and international freight forwarding.
